Opening day for the movie adaptation of EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING is here! I thought the movie was adorable, funny, and very faithful to the book. Also, the music is great.
To celebrate, I’ve got two copies of the soundtrack to give away. These are downloads from the Interscope Records site – save them to your iTunes (or whatever) library and play away. Bustle.com says the soundtrack will “take you back to your first kiss.”
The soundtrack includes:
- Night Drive – Ari Lennox
- Let’s Go – Khalid
- In Your Eyes – BADBADNOTGOOD feat. Charlotte Day Wilson
- Howling – Ry X
- Ocean Eyes – Billie Eilish
- Parking Lot – Anderson .Paak
- Stay – Zedd and Alessia Cara
- Escape (Acoustic) – Kehlani
- Girl – The Internet feat. KAYTRANADA
- How Did We – Skylar Stecker
- Let My Baby Stay – Amandla Stenberg
How to enter: In the comments below, tell me which YA novel you’d most like to see turned into a movie AND who you’d cast to play the lead roles.
We all know movies can take years to come about – if they ever do. Here’s a list from Teen.com in June 2016 of book adapations that had yet to happen at that time. By my count, ZERO of the 15 books they list have even begun production yet. So let’s cast these (or any other) YA books-to-movies ourselves, shall we?
Contest closes on Sunday, 5/21 at 5PM EST! I’ll email the winners on Monday morning. Good luck! Happy weekend!
Full disclosure/reminder/all that: I work in movie promotions for a living. But the only things I promote here are the things I like. I don’t get paid for it. (Maybe I should talk to someone about that.)
